Day 5 Prayer

Today, we will be praying for all who visit the Hawaiian Islands to see the light and love of God.  For the year 2011, there was 7.3 million visitors to the islands of Hawaii, that averages out to about 20,000 people a day! About half of those visitors go to Oahu, another quarter of them to Maui, and the remaining quarter are split between Kauai and the Big Island.  People came to Hawaii for a variety of reasons, vacations, business trips, destination weddings, or pilgrimages.  Whatever, their reasons for coming almost all who come here get to relax, reconnect, and get refreshed by the natural beauty of Hawaii.

Father God, we ask You to meet people here.  Let them see You through the beauty of Your creation here on the islands.  As You spoke through John 1:3, “Through Him (Christ, The Word) all things were made, without Him nothing was made that has been made.” Your works demonstrate Your glory as Your Word says, “since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen.” Also Father, let the see the light of Christ as it is life to all mankind.  When people come here to escape reality, let them find Christ who sets people free from all their bondage.

Let the believers on the island be hungry to lead visitors here to an encounter with you.  As we go to popular vacation spots, to the beach, or to restaurants, Jesus open the eyes of hearts to see beyond the surface into people’s lives.  As you give us prophetic insight, let us have discernment on which is to share and which is for prayer.  If an insight is for intercession only, let us pray without ceasing for what You’ve revealed to us.  If we are to share the words You give us, please give us the boldness to step out and share it.

In Your Name, AMEN!
