Please continue to pray for Steven Miyake and his fight against leukemia. He is not cancer free, but his cancer is not growing. Steven is in need of a bone marrow transplant, and while he awaits a donor match, he is receiving consolidation chemo treatments for three days at a time. After receiving treatment and recovering on Oahu, Steven gets to return to Maui to be with his family and church ohana. Please pray for a donor match to be found soon, pray for the funds to cover the costs of the transplant, travel back and forth between Oahu, and his time off from work. Haven’t given an update in a while, so just wanted to send a quick one. I went through my second round of chemotherapy and it went very well. God has truly had His hands over me and my oncologists are very happy with the progress. While we wait for a bone marrow match, I’ll be in kind of a holding pattern in treatments and have this consolidation chemo. My dr’s say that I’m physically ready for the bone marrow transplant, which is fantastic! As always, I have received an abundance of love and support with visits, texts, phone calls, FB and cards….and I appreciate each one:) I also want to thank all who have donated financially. I am truly humbled at your generosity, that you would sacrifice and give towards my treatment and expenses. I pray that God blesses you abundantly. I don’t know how much my treatments will end up at, but I am 100% sure that God will continue to provide! Lastly, it looks like I’ll be heading home tomorrow for about 11 days on Maui:) Thank you all for your continued love and support!
