Trucker completed his second round of immunotherapy in NYC and has scans this week. Please pray for this family as they spend so much time apart. Pray for Trucker as he recovers from his treatments. Pray for his scans to show that he is cancer FREE! Please read the update from Shauna below.
Although whenever we are in NYC our #littlelegend feels like junk there is no denying how much i love all the sweet snuggles i get. The second round of immunotherapy went well and we are detoxing from all the narcotics and waiting for scans over the next two days. In the parent cancer world we have a word for scan week. Scanxiety. I am not naturally a worry wart so this is a whole new season for me in my head!!😁 and then there are a lot of things im worried about.. Not being able to hug my big kids when they dont feel good or had a bad day and how they are really doing #sharedachinghearts
My husband and how he’s holding up with all the things on his plate.. Our marriage and how hard it is to stay feeling connected when your thousands of miles away with a 6 hour time difference.. Trucker boys cancer and will we ever be back to some sort of normal? Or will we always be in this place of not knowing if it will ever go away or not start growing again!! The only place i find any peace is in knowing that God has a plan for Truckers life, and ours!! #trustingGod #prayerworks although i know we are not alone New York is a very lonely place for me as i desperately miss the people i love most and have to spend time away!! Thank you sooooo much everyone for pushing on the door with us!! Upcoming scans will let us know if we have blasted any cancer with the current trial we are on!! Please pray what we are doing is doing something so we can continue to travel back and forth and see our family more and more!!
