We have been sharing about our friend and God’s House Island Connect Pastor Steven Miyake. In our last update, we shared that Steven has been diagnosed with cancer, and that he was beginning a week-long round of chemotherapy. He has since completed his chemotherapy and is in his second week of recovery. He does have a lingering cough that the doctors believe is a side effect of one of his medications.
He had a 14-day biopsy today to see if there is any cancer left his body. Please pray that the doctors do not find any cancer, for Steven’s recovery from his chemotherapy, and for his cough to go away. Thank you for your prayers for Steven.
