AT 1100 AM HST, THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM KILO WAS LOCATED NEAR LAT 13.0 N LONG 153.3 W. KILO IS MOVING TOWARD THE WEST-NORTHWEST NEAR 16 MPH. THIS GENERAL MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS WITH A GRADUAL DECREASE IN FORWARD SPEED EXPECTED EARLY SUNDAY.
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 40 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS. GRADUAL STRENGTHENING IS EXPECTED OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.
