This year there are two new events in addition the Night of Shooting Stars on Saturday, June 28th. The first event is a Poker with the Pros night on Thursday, June 26th. This night consists of individuals from the community who buy a seat at the table playing against the professional athletes who come will be playing in the Night of Shooting Stars.
On Friday, June 27th, The Gathering at Hope Chapel Maui and basketballMAUI will be co-sponsoring the second event, More than a Game. This event is a behind the scenes look at the movie “Midrange” with live music, food available for purchase, and testimonies from Decathlete Bryan Clay, and Professional Basketball Players CJ Watson, Garrett Temple, Anthony Tolliver, Patrick Ewing Jr., Mike Penberthy, and Kelenna Azubuike. You can come a purchase food at 5:00 and stay for the live music, movie sneak peak, and player testimonies beginning at 7:00.
