We are very excited to share about the Haiku Ho’olaule’a & Flower Festival. This event is entering its 21st incarnation this year, and is the annual fundraiser for Haiku School, the elementary school for Haiku, Maui. This event features live entertainment, food from local restaurants, a bake sale and a silent auction. It has floral design and lei making contests. There is also a Haiku historical display and a “Keiki Zone” featuring many activities for keiki (children) of all ages!
The festival is a labor of love for many in the Haiku community. In addition to the many hours of intense labor (largely done by a volunteer force), the festival has many financial needs as well. This year the Haiku School PTA launched an IndieGoGo campaign to help raise the finances needed to run the festival. You can go here to find out how to give to this worthy cause.
