“David defeated the Philistines at Baal-perazim, so named because ‘God broke the enemies with my hand as rushing waters break through barriers.'” (1 Chronicles 14:11 The Voice)
I am in awe of our God this morning as I learned of this place named in honor of what He did to conquer David’s enemies: Baal-perazim.
If you’ve been around rushing water, you know what power lies therein. As you meditate on the meaning of this awesome name describing God, may you know that whatever you face today The Lord of Breakthrough is with you.
