Our prayer today is for the fruitful harvest of physical crops to feed the people of the islands Just as with many main land farmers, farmers in the islands feel financial pressure from the decreasing profitability of agriculture. This pressure combined with big money for cash crops or even more money for development causes many farmers to stop traditional agriculture to claim these financial rewards.
Father, we ask you for bountiful crops for farmers here in Hawaii, so they will remain or become profitable. We also for an increased harvest to feed the people of the islands. Especially in the event of natural disasters which could prevent supplies from reaching the islands. Please bless our local farmers with an abudance of financial resources to stay in business. We thank you for your answers to these prayers, for being generous, and for the gift of grace through your Son, Jesus.
In His Name, AMEN!
