Day 7 Prayer

Our prayer today is for educators as they seek the best for student’s education.  Despite the income made from tourism, a lot of the schools in Hawaii are understaffed and underfunded.  Teachers have the lowest rate of pay as compared to the cost of living in all the fifty states.  Students on the islands often feel limited in their life choices, and as a result, they don’t feel their efforts will make a difference in their lives.

Papa God, please bless educators in Hawaii with the evidence of fruit from their efforts.  Allow administrators and teachers to work together to make sure students are receiving all the services that they need.  Jesus, please let believers in the classroom be the examples of Your love.  Increase the fruit of the spirit in their lives, especially patience and kindness, as students can challenge both of these.

Jesus, let the students of the islands feel the hope of glory found in You.  As they go to class, let them participate with cheerful hearts. Give them as sense of purpose, and let them know that you have plans for them, plans to give them a hope and a future.  More than anything may have encounters with your great love.  Jesus, thank you for the honor of praying for the next generation.

In Jesus Name, Amen
