Day 1 Prayer

Today, we will be interceding  for the people who live on the Hawaiian Islands to find their identity in Christ, the one True God. Many people who live on the islands are “spiritual” seekers which is good because they are open to spiritual discussions; however, a lot of them have a you-believe-what-you-believe-it’s-all-good universalism.  Simply stated, there is no one true way to salvation.

Jesus please open their eyes to be opened to the reality of your statement in John 14:6  “I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but by me.” Daddy, we ask you to pour out your love on the people of Hawaii.  Let believers have boldness, and take risks, in sharing You, the Truth, with others.  Let our love for You and Your people be evident in word, action, and attitude. Give us words of knowledge to speak to people’s hearts and to specific events in their lives.  Give us insight into physical pains or emotional hurts and let’s have a humble attitude in approaching these hurting people.

Jesus, we thank you for the faithful churches, pastors, and believers being the Kingdom here in Hawaii.  We ask that you give them encouragement today through kind words and other evidence of your faithfulness to them.  Let each member of the body remember their place in upholding the Head and their true identity in Christ.

In Jesus Name, Amen
